Bigscreen, self-named the “social virtual reality movie theater”, reportedly had over 5,700 people RSVP to watch the SpaceX launch on June 25.
The company also recently announced Bigscreen TV, a free cross-platform streaming service with over 50 channels that allows VR users to enter a virtual room and watch movie trailers, feature-length films and TV shows. Bigscreen is free to download on all leading VR headsets, and users can choose to watch content by themselves, or screen share and play games with their friends.
If you missed out on the VR SpaceX launch stream on Bigscreen and you have an Oculus Rift, you can still get some space content and join astronauts in the International Space Station.
