For those of you with Daydream-compatible head-mounted displays (HMDs), you can now browse the web using Google Chrome with all of the features you’ve grown accustomed to with Virtual Reality (VR) optimization for all of your favorite web content. Daydream-specific features, like “cinema mode”, optimizes web video for the best viewing experience in VR. With Chrome now integrated into Daydream, you can start browsing on your phone, whether it is reading your favorite news article or watching a YouTube video, and easily switch to your headset.
Chrome VR can be launched from the homepage of Google Daydream View and the Lenovo Mirage Solo with Daydream, powered by certain Android smartphones. Click here to see if your smartphone is compatible with Daydream View.
